Active Insight Announces New Director At 25 Year Celebration Event

Active Insight Announces New Director At 25 Year Celebration Event

In a year of significant change, development and success, Active Insight had further cause for celebration at a recent event on Wednesday 16th October in London.

Celebrating their 25 year anniversary, Active Insight planned a day of learning, coaching and networking for their closest partners, clients and friends who have helped to shape the organisation into what it is today.

Whilst acknowledging the achievements of the past, the day was very much focused towards the future, laying out a roadmap and vision for the months ahead.

The event, which took place in Islington, invited a range of operators and suppliers from across the physical activity sector to contribute to a forum outlining how the sector can more effectively turn data into actionable insight. Attendees such as Abbeycroft Leisure, The University of East Anglia and South Downs Leisure were given access to exclusive research and consumer insight not yet released to the wider sector, and the opportunity to shape Active Insights vision and product development for the coming months.

Duncan Anderson, CEO of South Downs Leisure commented, “It was so important for us to be here today to support and celebrate the achievements of Active Insight. Over the past 25 years they have supported so many organisations in understanding and interpreting data, identifying trends that inform our business decisions and developing strategies that fulfil the needs of the communities we collectively serve.”

As the day was drawing to a close, and the event delegates were enjoying an evening of networking and drinks, Active Insight founder Mike Hill and Director David Monkhouse had a couple of final surprises. Honouring the significant contribution and commitment that Julie Allen has made to the business since joining 2 years ago, Mike and David announced that Julie will become a Director of the organisation.

Founder Mike Hill said “Julie has made such an incredible impact to Active Insight since joining us. From day one she has demonstrated a depth of knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for continually driving the organisation forward and contributing to the growth of the wider sector. We are extremely proud to have Julie as part of our team.”

In addition to recognising Julie’s contribution, the full Active Insight team were issued with share certificates to divide ownership of the business amongst its employees, honouring Sarah Gilvey and Sarah Forster.

Julie Allen, now Director of Active Insight, said “What a day! It is a privilege to be part of a team that have supported so many different organisations across the leisure, cultural and education sectors. In the past 25 years we estimate that Active Insight has supported over 500 organisations with data driven decision making and connected more than 200 buyers and suppliers to improve service delivery through active net. The last 25 years have been hugely important in getting to where we are now, but in many ways this next year is going to be our most important yet as we release our latest CX Platforms, providing more actionable real-time data processing for operators through Sales Focus, Swim Focus, Onboard, Feedback Focus, NPS and Recovery Focus platforms.”
