In a year that has seen active-net celebrate its 10th anniversary, the networking event series has gone from strength to strength delivering more events across the wider physical activity and wellbeing sectors than ever before.
With a programme set for 2025 that includes active-net National, Scotland, Private Sector, Open Water, Veg Net and an a new educational facilities event, the programme will be connecting hundreds of organisations and suppliers across its targeted events.
Over the past 10 years, active-net has become synonymous with innovation and staying ahead of the curve. Always looking to push new agendas, introduce its audiences to new technologies and deliver a brilliant experience, in 2025 and beyond active-net is embracing AI technology to transform its event management.
In a new partnership which will allow active-net to leverage the use of AI employees, HireBOB will be supporting some of the administrative event management processes normally delivered by the team.
David Monkhouse, active-net Director, commented “We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for the hundreds of sector professionals that attend our events annually. We strive to bring innovation to these events both in the booking process and event delivery. As the event series has grown to now 6 events, the administrative processes and customer experience requirements have significantly grown beyond the scale of our small team. Working with our friends at HireBOB, we recognised an opportunity to leverage the capabilities of AI employees, launching activeBob to enhance our service delivery.”
Commencing with the active-net Private Sector event, which started pre-sale from 4th November, HireBOB’s AI employees will be engaging in conversations to help delegates book tickets, plan their event, support delegates in matching their interests to sessions and provide instant responses to any questions that they may have via email, Whats App and web chat 24 hours a day. Post event, delegates will also be able to engage with AI employees to provide their feedback.
Justin Mendleton, Commercial Director at HireBOB said “We are delighted to be partnering with active-net to support their event delivery moving forward. Utilising our AI agents will bring significant efficiencies to the event organisation, providing a high level of 24/7 instant response service level to the event delegates before, during and after the events. This additional support will free up the active-net teams time so that they can focus on the event delivery and face to face interactions rather than the screen time administration.”
Julie Allen, Active Insight Director, commented “We are very excited about the future of this partnership. Although beginning with implementation across the active-net series, we are already exploring opportunities for collaboration with HireBOB across our Customer Experience Management series, utilising AI to benefit our Active Insight customers. Watch this space for some very exciting announcements to come soon!”
