January
We ran an insightful piece with Sports Management Mag in January after NBS research showed that many leisure facilities are still not reaching the lowest socioeconomic groups. Please click here to read more about this issue and how we suggest this can be combated learning from some of the successful pre-existing programmes to target other inactive groups.
After a few training sessions with the University of East Anglia’s Sportspark we were pleased to report some fantastic customer experience stats. This article went to print in the January edition of Workout Mag
We also continued our work on our new service recovery-Focus (you can read up on this service here), working with BigFish and Trafford Leisure to bring you an insight into how this service works for the customer. Please give it a read on page 6 here. As always, please contact info@active-insight.org to organise a free demo of any of our services.
February
We were also in attendance at the annual Quest/NBS and CIMSPA conference. S&PA Professional Mag ran excellent coverage of the event which you can find on page 18 here.
March
Just to add to the hectic start of the year we also had 2019’s edition of active-net. This year the event took place in Eastwood Hall on the 27th and 28th of March, with plenty of new and returning faces to catch up with. You can find out more information on the event on the active-net website or by checking out some fab images courtesy of Peak-A-Boo on our online gallery here.
Throughout these three months we also ran a number of campaigns through active-net in the run up to the event. These were focused on supporting DKMS, the blood cancer charity, in a drive to recruit further donors to their database; and on Kelda Wood who joined us shortly after her solo Cross-Atlantic row as the first solo adaptive rower in a bid to raise money for her charity Row to Raise. We are proud to have supported two amazing charitable causes this year for active-net 2019.
